Ganymede changes to ConnEct

All SVS courses are now managed by Loughborough College.  Their on-line service is called ConnEct and so Ganymede Virtual School has been renamed ConnEct.  To access Ganymede please use the SVS ConnEct link.

Online education with Satellite Virtual Schools

Satellite Virtual Schools provide an immediate teaching service to individuals, LEA’s, and County Councils for the education of students unable to attend conventional schools or who simply prefer to be taught at home. All education meets the requirements of the National Curriculum of England and Wales, up to and including GCSE and A Level. Specialist tutors devise individual learning plans. Flexible teaching methods and blended learning approaches enable students to work at their own pace and at levels that suit them. Students receive lessons via their own area of a private virtual school web site from personally assigned subject tutors, each of whom is a qualified teacher. Tutors provide detailed feedback and on-going assignments. Examination entries for post-16 students are arranged through Loughborough College of Further Education.
